Palestina je také izraelskou laboratoří, která slouží k testování zbraní a dohledových technologií, jež se následn ě s nálepkou „testováno v boji“ vyváží do celého světa, včetně těch nejhor ších diktatur, jakými jsou například Rusko či Saudská Arábie.

Kniha australského investigativního novináře Antonyho Loewensteina na základě sv ědeckých výpovědí, tajných dokumentů a reportáží rozkrývá propojení izrael ského mocenského systému a technologického a zbrojního průmyslu, který na palestinském obyvatelstvu testuje zbraně, dohledové technologie a nástroje represe pro globální trh.

Aktuálně se izraelská agrese kromě Palest iny stupňuje taky na jihu Libanonu, který systematicky do základů maže bez větší pozornosti světových nebo českých médií. Své osobní zkušenosti s iz raelskou okupací přijdou sdílet zástupce a zástupkyně libanonské komunity v Praze.

It has been three years since Israel began commit ting genocide in Gaza, and decades of apartheid and ethnic cleansing in th e occupied Palestinian territories. Palestine also serves as Israel’s test ing ground for weapons and surveillance technologies, which are then expor ted—labeled as “battle-tested”—to countries around the world, including th e worst dictatorships, such as Russia and Saudi Arabia.

Based on eye witness accounts, classified documents, and investigative reports, the Pal estine Laboratory by Australian investigative journalist Antony Loewenstei n exposes the ties between the Israeli power structure and the technology and arms industries, which test weapons, surveillance technologies, and to ols of repression on the Palestinian population for the global market.

Currently, Israeli aggression is escalating not only in Palestine but a lso in southern Lebanon, which is being systematically razed to the ground without much attention from the global or Czech media. Representatives of the Lebanese community in Prague will share their personal experiences wi th the Israeli occupation.

This will be followed by an online interv iew with the author of the book, during which we will discuss how Gaza bec ame a testing ground for the Israeli military. The program will feature a musical performance by members of the band Xadrex.
