Effective and Ethical Advocacy for Humanitarian Causes: Workshop

Effective and Ethical Advocacy for Humanitarian Causes: Workshop

This two-day workshop offers 10 hours of training on conducting effective, ethical, and well-informed advocacy for humanitarian causes, led by a Palestinian advocate with on-the-ground and international experience.

The workshop equips participants with practical tools to analyze humanitarian cases through international law, political dynamics, and historical context, strengthening both accuracy and impact.

Participants will learn how to develop clear, responsible advocacy messages for diverse audiences while avoiding misinformation and harmful framing. The training also emphasizes personal protection and digital safety, addressing legal, security, and emotional risks associated with advocacy work, particularly in sensitive and highly politicized contexts.

Through focused case studies, interactive discussions, and hands-on exercises, participants will gain practical skills to engage in advocacy that is strategic, credible, and sustainable. This workshop is designed for students, activists, humanitarian workers, and anyone seeking to advocate responsibly for humanitarian and human rights causes.
