Mondo Video I: NEKROMANTIK I & II - Japan Cut (1987, OV with jap. subs, VHS) - 7PM

Our new series focusing on the perverse delights of the VHS format is about to launch and we’re bursting with excitement to present our first program! Here it goes…

For the opening night, our regular and guest of honor Jörg Buttgereit dug up something very special – he’ll bring a super rare Japanese tape that features an unauthorized cut of his legendary underground classic Nekromantik and its sequel, wildly mixed together for maximum effect and thus creating a new, third part.

This very necro best-of will be a memorable start to say the least, especially since this cut is basically unseen in the western hemisphere!

The movie will be presented in its original German language version with Japanese subtitles. Come by even if you haven’t finished your A1 course yet, you won’t see this tape again anytime soon.
